A Solo Art Exhibition was staged at the Train Up Institute International’s hall in Kampala on January 11, 2023.

Mr. Aklilu H. Michael, Managing Director of the Train Up Institute International, and Mr. Kidane Ghebrehawariat, owner of the Grand Hub café jointly gave the exhibition its official opening.

On the occasion, Mr. Aklilu said that a show like this gives young artists a platform to showcase their work and educate the public about the value of art.

A collection of paintings by Eritrean artist Fithawi Mulue illustrating human relationships to and interactions with religion were on display in the exhibition.

Fithawi contends that solo exhibitions should continue since solo art is a means of expressing one’s inner feelings.

A number of individuals came to see the displays and expressed their admiration for the artist’s work.
