The Train Up Institute International graduated 61 students on January 14, 2023, with diplomas and certificates.

61 of the students graduated in different fields of study, including in Accounting, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Basics as well as Project Management.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Aklilu H. Michael, Managing Director of the Institute, remarked that knowledge is the most potent weapon that anyone can use to alter the world. Additionally, he stated that “education, transformation, and people” are all connected and that “you can’t see one without the other.”

The institute has been actively involved in launching a number of programs, promoting educational fields, advancing the teacher-student-based method of learning, and strengthening collaborative efforts with stakeholders to launch research-based diploma and certificate programs, according to the managing director.

Dr. Senait Tekle, a Guest of Honor at the occasion, also spoke at the ceremony. She emphasized that education is the foundation for all development and praised the Train Up Institute for providing doors for many students and professionals to progress their careers with knowledge and skills.

In a same spirit, Dr. Ghebregzigher Andemariam spoke on behalf of the graduates and expressed gratitude for the opportunity presented as well as a pledge to work hard and be devoted to realizing their aspirations.

Since its founding in 2022, the Train Up Institute International has graduated 123 students.
